Service Description

Equip your fine dining restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality staff with the power to increase one of your highest profit menu items: wine. With the industry norm marking up a wine bottle to 200-300% its in-store retail value, restaurants without a staff ready to make helpful, individualized food-and-wine pairing suggestions are leaving money on the table. This class will expand each student’s knowledge of wine, regions, varietals, the winemaking process, and how food pairing works. Additionally, we will work with you to curate a list of wine pairing suggestions for your restaurant’s top 10 menu items. Students who attend this class will be able to confidently (and accurately) discuss your restaurant’s various wine offerings, recommend the perfect pairings directly from your menu, and leave feeling like a bonafide sommelier. Previous experience in wine and hospitality is highly recommended but not required.


Cancellation Policy

The Wednesday Winery will do everything we can to accommodate our guests needs. We collect a down payment upon booking (50% of the base price) and collect the remaining amount due 1 week before the event. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to our cancellation and rescheduling policies: -- Clients may cancel up to two weeks before event. The down payment is not refundable, but if the event is cancelled at least 2 weeks ahead of the event, the remaining payment will not be due. -- Clients may cancel up to the day of, but the entire total cost of event (down payment and remaining payment) will be due. -- Rescheduling is available upon request, up to two weeks before the event. -- To cancel or reschedule, call Allison at (562) 299-7890 or email us at thewednesdaywinery@gmail.com. What does "base total" mean?

The base total is the cost of the event without any of the optional customizations added in.

 

All of The Wednesday Winery's events are fully customizable and we take great joy in catering to each of our clients' unique preferences and requests to create an unforgettable wine experience. This means that the cost of each experience may vary to suit our client's requests.

Optional customizations or special additions may include:

  • Additional participants

  • Special rented spaces (ie not online or at your provided location)

  • Travel fees (for locations more than 45 minutes away from us in Long Beach)

  • Food pairing or catering

  • Specific wine requests

  • Special accommodations
