Stock up on the best wines before the holidays hit! Instead of rushing from store to store to find the perfect hostess gift or right pairing for your winter soup, make sure you have these wines stocked already and I guarantee a stress free holiday season! (JK, don't come for me)
Wines that will pair with Winter Appetizers:
Vinho Verde is a perfect wine to pair with both light and heavy apps, with its slightly sweet, lemony, effervescence. Here are a few of my favorites:

For the soup lovers of the world, this is our season! There are so many to choose from, you could have a different soup every day. For some of the more creamy soups like bisques and chowders, opt for a bold and maybe even buttery Chardonnay (I know, anything-but-chardonnay, but trust me on this one!
My favorite Chardonnay, and it's on super sale right now (more than 50%!) on vivino.com.
One tip to a good Chardonnay is spending a bit more money on the bottle. I know, but it's the holidays! This is the perfect time to splurge. This is a really good $40-50 range bottle
If you're looking for a really pretty bottle to be able to display with your Thanksgiving spread, look no further!
To match the simple beauty of the vegetarian course, try a dry Sauvignon Blanc, which will have green fruit and citrus notes, that pair elegantly with the herbs and spices of the dishes.

This bottle is a beautiful gift for your boss or favorite client or to share with your favorite person over a fancy grilled cheese.
This Sancerre is amazing and perfect for fall
If you're serving a classic Thanksgiving roast turkey, pair a few dry Rieslings with it and see your family smack their lips in delight. This will be a Thanksgiving to remember!

Absolutely beautiful German Riesling
I can't decide if I love the bottle or the wine better because both are so stunning!
So far we've been drinking whites, but let's switch to a fall Rosé for your Sunday dinner: roast chicken and potatoes anyone? A deep Rosé that has had longer contact with the skin will give you bolder tannins, mirroring the cozy November nights that we all crave and romanticize.

Absolutely nothing screams fall dinners like a good beef stew and I have the perfect wines to pair with it. Have a few of these stocked so you can open another once your guests have annihilated the first bottle:

If you are going to a party and would like to bring a bottle of wine to share, here are a few that are so delicious, a good deal and also beautiful to look at:

Chateauneuf-Du-Pape (If you buy this, please invite me over!)
There are so many more bottles to enjoy this fall so please don't limit yourself to these. Let me know which ones you've picked up and what you'll be drinking them with!
Happy Sipping!
